First and foremost, all of us at The News hope that all of you reading this came through Hurricane Ian healthy and safe. Our News team fared well, considering. A few trees and power lines down, loss of power, and the general inconveniences of temporarily losing modern conveniences. Our friends and colleagues to the south took a much harder hit. Our thoughts are with them. The News is encouraging anyone who is able to donate to your favorite relief organization. SCC was built on neighbors helping neighbors. We’re a GENEROUS community, which is something we see in EVERY issue of The News. The more we give, the better and faster those folks will be able to rebuild. And, if YOU are in need, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We will do our best to connect you to help.
