Submissions

The News of Sun City Center & South County is a true community newspaper, exclusively serving the residents of Sun City Center, Kings Point, Valencia Lakes, South Riverview, Ruskin, and Wimauma. We are dedicated to providing a local monthly publication that has a “hometown” feel, chock full of fun, community-focused stories. We aim to represent each and every person, business, and organization with respect, dignity, and fairness.

All submissions are due by the 15th of the month prior to publication.

Submissions we consider include:

Club, organization, or community news or events

Hobbies and other items of interest

Entertainment opportunities

Travel reports – send us a picture of you in your travels holding The News 

Event reminders, invitations, or other opportunities

Celebrations or commemorations

Photos or digital representations of your art

The News of Sun City Center & South County is committed to being fun, informative and inspirational for you — and everyone else in our community. It is not the forum for “spirited debate,” no matter how civil. We do not publish letters to the editor, no matter how impassioned or well-intentioned.

The publisher reserves the right to refuse and/or edit all materials submitted for placement in The News. Submissions will be considered, subject to editing, and dependant on space limitations.
